The Problem
Connection as the Catalyst for Change
El Nido exists to create meaningful connections between creatives working across the entertainment industry. Through mentorship, community, and shared experience, we aim to build a space where artists can learn from one another, have honest conversations, and send the elevator back down for those coming behind them. We believe that when we invest in underrepresented communities, such as Latinos, we strengthen not only individual careers, but the future of our industry as a whole.
Latinos are the engine of today's entertainment economy.
We drive viewership, purchasing power, and cultural conversation. Yet despite being nearly 20% of the country, Latinos remain among the most underrepresented groups in Hollywood — in front of and behind the camera.

Across disciplines, there is a shortage of structured spaces where Latino creatives — actors, writers, directors, producers, cinematographers, casting directors — can lift each other up, ask hard questions, and know that someone in the room has been where they are.
The gap El Nido was created to fill.
